Just when you thought indie games couldn't get that unique, along comes Death of a Wish. In this game, play as Christian as he unites with others to take on a sinister cult.
In the game, you will have to defeat your opponents through magical combinations known as Arias in a sophisticated combat system that encourages tactical aggression and refine your skills with powerful abilities that change the dynamics of the fight. During the journey, his corruption grows, leading him towards a dark outcome. You can control this by performing elegant combos and attacking with longer shots.
The premise of Death of a Wish takes you through the dark world of dreams, where you will encounter surreal characters and stories. The city of Neo-Sanctum sets the stage for a fight that will shape Christian's society and the future, and you'll be able to meet new allies in hidden parts of the world. Also, the aesthetics of Christian's world are unique. Light and movements on the dark sea create an emotional atmosphere. The fights are dynamic, easy to follow and look like animated cutscenes.
You can already play the demo version of this game, and its full release is expected in the first quarter of next year on PC via Steam.
