Movie Games today released Beyond Sunset, a cyberpunk pixel game developed by Vaporware and Mediacorp. Inspired by Doom and Deus Ex, the game mixes frantic combat with strong RPG elements, and you can get it on Steam today in early access for €9.75.
Using GZDoom, a modernized version of the legendary Doom engine, the game brings unprecedented features to this classic technology. It's a Cyberpunk first-person shooter with a rich story and RPG elements, in which you play as Lucy, a street samurai looking for her lost memories, and you fight in large, open and interactive levels against yakuza, zombies, robots and various bosses. Additionally, upgrade a selection of different weapons, outwit your enemies using dash/slide and unlock special abilities in head-to-head combat scenarios.
