Cyberpunk action game Keylocker coming to PC and Xbox this Summer

Set in a world where music is forbidden, in this game you take control of the singer BOBO. Developer Moonana Games explained on Steam that the Mario & Luigi RPG series and Chrono Trigger served as inspiration for Keylocker.

Keylocker is a unique and vibrant JRPG featuring turn-based rhythmic gameplay. You play as BOBO, a singer and songwriter, on a mission to overthrow a despotic regime that has outlawed all forms of sound. In the game, you power your actions with the energy of electric music through real-time execution, where aiming, timing, parrying, and blocking are crucial for battling your enemies.

You can make friends or deceive citizens, hack their profiles to get stuff, or alter the story with different endings. Also, uncover Saturn's secrets, perform concerts with your band, and hack the network to stop the corrupt system. Gain new characters by playing the Music Show minigame, featuring songs by Elektrobear (Momodora, Virgo Versus The Zodiac), voiced by Psamathes. Plus, customize your characters with lots of gear options and unlock special abilities.

Keylocker launches later this summer, and will be available for PC and Xbox Series X/S.
