Mythwalk Studios announced that they launched Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign for Dewborne Dawn. This upcoming metroidvania action-adventure takes place in the last remaining refuge of a world plagued by a terrible curse called the Spiritblight. Players explore, fight and make new allies to prove to the survivors that hope still exists, in the form of a small, mysterious creature.
In Dewborne Dawn, players take on the role of Dew, a mystical creature with a divine blade who possesses the rare ability to cleanse the plague that has swept the world. Explore the ruins of this world, discover the secrets of the curse and learn how to resist it. Jump, run and make your own way in this non-linear adventure that offers different ways to progress. Find powerful artifacts that expand your abilities, opening up new areas to explore.
Culture and lore play a key role in Dewborne Dawn, where building relationships with characters along the way contributes to the success of your quest. These allies can join your party and provide different benefits during gameplay. They are not just fighting tools; each member has a deep connection to the world and Dew, with their own stories and conflicts. In battle, each ally provides additional assistance, and forming friendships with them plays a key role in achieving your goals.
