Critter Crossfire is a combination of turn-based tactical gameplay and a first-person shooter

Evan Polekoff, a solo developer and former Senior Gameplay Engineer at Blizzard Entertainment, known for his contributions to Hearthstone and Battlegrounds, is set to release his independent project, Critter Crossfire, next year. The game seamlessly blends turn-based strategy with shooter elements.

In traditional tactical games, characters rely on random percentages for attack outcomes. But imagine a game where RNG is replaced by physics. You get a skill-based game where everything is in your hands. Match deep strategies with inventive tricks to outsmart opponents with skill and cunning in Critter Crossfire.

There are more than 50 eccentric items to use in this game. Ability to combine weapons and upgrades to create the ideal weapon. Original map mechanics with moving lanes and obstacles. Additionally, Polekoff promises that the AI (CPU) plays fair and understands the game's physics quite well. The Highlights feature makes it easy to capture and share GIFs with other players, and support for Steam Remote Play allows you to challenge your friends online.

Critter Crossfire will be available on PC via Steam.
