Indie studio Stoneskip and publisher iam8bit Presents prepared a surprise; the relaxing simulation Simpler Times was unexpectedly released during the Day of the Devs event and is now available at Steam. The game will be available at a price of €8.99 in the next two weeks.

Although it was announced during last year's Day of the Devs Showcase, it seems the studio decided to surprise everyone with this unexpected release. Along with this announcement, the studio presented a brand new trailer revealing never-before-seen details about the game.

Simpler Times takes you on an emotional journey as you help Taina pack her childhood memories for college, reminiscing about key moments from her young life. Music plays a significant role in the game, with old records taking her back in time to see how her room and she herself have changed over the years.

"We love how Simpler Times allows players to explore and learn more about Taina's life at their own pace. The game is a cozy refuge from the big, loud games out there right now, and we hope players find it as soothing as we do."
