Copperfields is a post-apocalyptic platformer that tells a story about nature and perseverance. Navigating a desolate city in search of water, you confront a hostile environment. Noteworthy for its seamless and dynamic movement, the game delivers a swift and exhilarating experience as you race through levels, solve puzzles, and execute parkour tricks with your one-wheeled robot body.
In addition, the goal is to use the environment and the remains of the robotic civilization to make it easier to get through the levels and solve the puzzles. Various tools are at your disposal, all to uncover the various secrets that await you in the world of Copperfields. In fact, we had the opportunity to play Copperfields at this year's Reboot InfoGamer in Zagreb, and we can certainly say that this title will not disappoint you.
3Hills is the studio that is developing this game, and was founded in July 2021 as a spinoff of one of the largest IT companies in Montenegro - Amplitudo. Their vision is to become a recognizable studio from a small country with exceptional ideas and a story of loss, creating incredible and bold video games that deeply affect the lives of players and evoke powerful emotions.
The new trailer highlights the rich background art and atmosphere that Copperfields brings to its natural dystopia. The insides of the mechanical infrastructure left behind by the robotic civilization are shown, along with a detailed depiction of the overgrown landscape.
Copperfields doesn't have a specific release date yet, but it should be released on PC via Steam.
