Indie game developer and publisher BatFields unveiled more details about their upcoming action-packed MMA game, City Of Ashes. This post-apocalyptic 3rd person isometric fighting game takes place in the streets and ruined buildings of a decaying city.
City Of Ashes centers around the protagonists Chris and his daughter Charlotte. In the aftermath of an apocalyptic pandemic and government collapse, former MMA fighter Chris is trying to survive with his daughter. When his daughter is kidnapped by a cannibalistic gang, Chris escapes and searches the ruined city for her, dealing with gangs along the way.
This game offers intense melee fights with a focus on hand-to-hand combat, where you will occasionally use improvised weapons. It also features an extensive arsenal of moves and special attacks, unlocked through a straightforward RPG system. You can augment your abilities with loot discovered through exploration or by defeating enemies.
BatFields, known for the massively popular DEAD EFFECT series with over 30 million downloads, has scheduled City Of Ashes for release in early 2025. The game will be available on PC via Steam, PlayStation, Xbox, and iOS and Android devices.
