Chasmal Fear is a next-generation FPS action horror game built on Unreal Engine 5 with a perspective of a body camera. Manage limited resources, make smart decisions that affect your gaming experience, and try to survive against monsters that mutate to become stronger. The game can be played as a single player or cooperatively with two players.

This title is played in first person and is set in an empty sci-fi underwater facility where something mysterious has happened. Players must choose wisely between fighting and sneaking past monsters that, once killed, can mutate into even more dangerous forms. In addition, they will unlock hidden areas and solve puzzles to discover the truth about what happened in this top secret facility. Every decision you make affects the gameplay experience, whether you're facing ruthless monsters or using stealth and cunning to survive.

Also, players will face limited ammunition which encourages strategic thinking and caution as they traverse the abandoned corridors of the Magnus Facility. The art direction uses a body cam perspective, and the action takes place in the near future, where players are equipped with an AR interface for navigation. Random events, such as sounds, crumbling ceilings and floors, and unexpected scares add to the replayability of the gameplay experience.

MystiveDev is the studio working on the development of this game, it consists of two brothers, and last year they released their debut title Mirror Forge which got good reviews on Steam. Chasmal Fear, on the other hand, still doesn't have a specific release date, but will be playable on PC via Steam. In addition, a demo version is expected with three different paths based on the player's choices, each with unique monsters.
