Yesterday, publisher Wired Productions and award-winning developer Tomas Sala announced that their city-builder game Bulwark: Falconeer Chronicles will be coming to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Series X/S consoles, as well as the previously announced PC via Steam, GoG, Epic Game Store and Utomiko.
Bulwark: Falconeer Chronicles is the spiritual sequel to the award-winning air combat game The Falconeer, launched for Xbox Series X in 2020. The game takes place in the same universe, but 40 years after the events of the previous game. Bulwark shifts its focus from aerial combat to city-building, set within a fantastical open world that gives players endless freedom to express their creativity.
In this sandbox builder, we will build different structures over steep cliffs and rocks. In addition to building anything and everything, we will have an airship to explore the big world and fight against various enemies. The game also contains a very complex political system that keeps track of which refugees you bring into your settlement and how these refugees affect the balance of factions in your settlement.
Also, in the new trailer you can see stunning examples of the settlements we'll be able to create, as well as new gameplay features that weren't present in the earlier Evolving Demo that wowed PC gamers earlier this year. The updates include new ways to progress and strategic elements that allow us to ally or clash with the inhabitants of Ursee.
