Architect Life: A House Design Simulator was showcased during the AG French Direct Spring 2024, and it’s a game that puts you in the shoes of an architect designing and building dream homes for clients. Developed by Shine Research, the game offers extensive creative freedom with a wide variety of materials, structures, and innovative construction tools with an expected release in 2025 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
Architect Life provides you with a vast array of materials, structures, and innovative construction tools. From the initial 3D plan modeling to on-site decision-making, every aspect of home design is under your control. You can manage room heating, customize interiors down to the exact color of the furniture, and enhance outdoor spaces with vegetation and various facilities.
In Career Mode, you step into the shoes of an architectural firm manager. You are tasked with handling contemporary home design projects, meeting client specifications, and adapting to different terrains. On the other hand, Free Mode allows you to select from 60 different environments and terrains, providing a sandbox experience with complete creative freedom. This mode is perfect for those who want to explore their architectural creativity without budget constraints or specific goals.
Architect Life’s tools are designed to maximize creative possibilities. For example, create precise dimensions and angle measurements, balconies, mezzanines, and structure extensions; access a wide selection of materials and coatings to personalize your designs; optimize the quantity and placement of heating devices; tailor the interiors down to the smallest details, like furniture colors and add vegetation, swimming pools, playgrounds, and other facilities to enhance the outdoor space.
Once your projects are complete, switch to first-person mode to experience your creations. Test room performance under different lighting conditions by changing the sun’s position, and take in the beauty of your work within its biome. Additionally, snap photos in photo mode to share your architectural masterpieces with friends.
